A
new home and a human for life
She told
me everything would be alright, petting me, and holding me just right.
It helped some, but I still cried the whole way.
Our
destination was so little and so bare compared to my old place. There
were no other animals or humans, no fence or garage.. just a big house
on wheels. Mountains of red and tan rock seemed very close.
Maybe I was younger than
my lady thought because right then I sure wanted to snuggle up to
my mother and get some milk.
